Madhya Pradesh: Congress retains Datia Assembly seat

Congress candidate Ghanshyam Singh has won from Datia Assembly seat in Madhya Pradesh, after defeating the BJP’s Ashutosh Tiwari by more than 6,000 votes.

As per the final result, Mr. Singh has won by a margin of 6,016 votes with securing 66,757 votes against Mr. Tiwari’s 60,741. (UPDATED ON 3RD AUGUST 2026)
