NEET examination should be twice a year

Speaking in the Lok Sabha, Shiv Sena MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde delivered an emotional message for students, saying that no examination can ever define the value of a person’s life. He urged students not to lose hope or take extreme steps because of exam results, reminding them that marks are only a part of life and should never determine their future.

Shrikant Shinde, citing examination systems in foreign countries and the United States, said that entrance examinations there are conducted two or more times a year. He demanded that India should also provide the option of conducting the NEET examination twice a year.(UPDATED ON 28TH JULY 2026)
