India –20 medals at the Commonwealth Games 2026

India have so far secured 20 medals at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland. In boxing, Sachin Siwach, in the men’s 60kg class, and Ankush Yadav, in the 80kg category, alongside women pugilists Sakshi and Arundhati Chaudhary, entered the semi-finals to assure a medal each for India. Three more Indian boxers can also lock in medals today as they compete in the quarter-finals. Meanwhile, Tajinderpal Singh Toor and Samardeep Singh Gill have already qualified for Thursday’s Men’s Shot Put Final. In para swimming, Chaitanya Vishwas Kulkarni and Suyash Narayan Jadhav have progressed to the Men’s 50m Freestyle S7 Final, while long jumper Murali Sreeshankar remains a major draw after booking his place in the final on his very first attemp
