DoT Organizes Workshop on Advanced Satellite Communication Technologies

The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), the technical arm of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), successfully organized a workshop on “Advanced Satellite Communication Technologies and Service Quality Benchmarking” today at the TEC Headquarters in New Delhi.

Prominent participants included representatives from IN-SPACe, the European Space Agency (ESA), IIT Delhi, NGSO (Non-Geostationary Orbit) & GSO (Geostationary Orbit) satellite operators such as Amazon Kuiper Services India Private Limited, JIO Satellite Communications Limited, OneWeb India Communications Private Limited, Starlink Satellite Communications Private Limited, Nelco Limited, Hughes Communications India, and others.

The event served as a major collaborative platform, bringing together key stakeholders from government bodies, regulatory authorities, academia, international organizations, and the broader satellite ecosystem.(UPDATED ON 18TH JUNE 2026)
