VP attendes Convocation Ceremony of the AIIMS Raipur

Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan today attended the Third Convocation Ceremony of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, and called upon the graduating students to shoulder the responsibility of serving the health, trust and lives of the people of Bharat.

Addressing the gathering, the Vice President said that a convocation is not merely a moment of celebration but also a moment of responsibility. “Today, you receive your degrees and tomorrow, you will be entrusted with something far more valuable-the health, trust and lives of the people of Bharat,” he said.

He wished AIIMS Raipur continued success in clinical excellence, scientific innovation, public health and compassionate service. He also expressed the hope that the transformation of Chhattisgarh would become an important chapter in the larger journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047.The Vice President also conferred gold medals and certificates on meritorious students.

Governor of Chhattisgarh Ramen Deka, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers Smt. Anupriya Patel, Chhattisgarh Minister for Health & Family Welfare and Medical Education Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal, President of AIIMS Raipur Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Handa and Executive Director AIIMS Raipur Retired Lieutenant General Ashok Jindal were present on the occasion.
