President Graces Combined Convocation Ceremony of NIFT

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, marked a significant milestone in the lives of its graduating students with the Combined Convocation 2026 in New Delhi on 31 August 2026. The ceremony brought together graduates from 18 NIFT campuses across the country, turning the occasion into a collective celebration of academic accomplishment, creative endeavours and the journey from learning to professional life.

The ceremony was graced by the President Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Visitor of NIFT, as the Chief Guest. Union Minister of Textiles Shri Giriraj Singh Secretary , Textiles Smt Neelam Shami Rao , DG,NIFT Smt Tanu Kashyap, distinguished dignitaries, members of the Board of Governors, senior officials, faculty members, PhD scholars and graduating students attended the event.

During the Convocation, the Director General, NIFT administered the pledge to the graduating students and symbolically conferred degrees upon the graduating batch.(updated on 31st August 2026)
