On the eve of Independence Day 2026, President Droupadi Murmu said that in today’s India, everyone can dream and move forward. The President said that there is a crisis in the world due to war. Despite this, India’s economy is growing rapidly.

She said that it is the duty of everyone associated with the judicial system to ensure that no person is deprived of justice due to a lack of resources.

Recalling ‘Operation Sindoor’, President Droupadi Murmu said that Operation Sindoor demonstrated the Indian armed forces’ capability to carry out precision strikes against terrorist networks. Meanwhile, speaking on the Indus Waters Treaty, the President said, ‘Suspending the Indus Waters Treaty with a country that harbors terrorism is in the national interest.
