Prime Minister pays tribute to Munshi Premchand on his birth anniversary

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, paid tributes to renowned litterateur Munshi Premchand on his birth anniversary.

The Prime Minister said that through his timeless literary works, Munshi Premchand gave a powerful expression to human emotions that continues to remain relevant even today. He also noted his invaluable contribution in bringing the literary heritage of Kashi, his birthplace and karmabhoomi, to global recognition.
