Govt Sensitising Other Countries On Cross-Border Terrorism

The Government has said that it is sensitising other countries, on an ongoing basis, on the issue of cross-border terrorism emanating from Pakistan during various high level and other official visits. In a written reply in Lok Sabha today, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh said that the Government has also set up Joint Working Groups (JWGs) on Counter Terrorism with 31 countries and 6 multilateral groupings where such issues are regularly taken up.

The Minister said that several countries have called upon Pakistan to not allow its territory to be used for terrorism in any manner. Mr Singh informed that India’s actions to defend itself against terrorism following the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April 2025 has been recognised by many nations. The Minister also said that The condemnation of the Pahalgam terror attack was also reflected in outcome documents at various multilateral fora.(UPDATED ON 31ST JULY 2026)
