Loss Of Five Air Warriors In AN-32 Aircraft Accident,Defence Minister Singh Expresses Grief

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed grief over the loss of five Air Warriors in the AN-32 aircraft accident at Jorhat in Assam. In a social media post, Mr Singh said that Squadron Leader Prashant Singh, Flight Lieutenant Shubham Kumar, Sergeant Jitendra Sharma, Agniveervayu Khemaram Kumawat and Agniveervayu Danish Alam have made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.

He said their courage and service to the nation will always be remembered with pride and gratitude. Mr Singh said the nation stands firmly with them in this hour of grief. He also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. (UPDATED ON 13TH JUNE 2026)
