Dharmendra awarded the Padma Vibhushan posthumously

Evergreen actor Dharmendra has been posthumously awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the country’s second-highest civilian honor. He was presented with this prestigious honor at a grand and dignified ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. His wife Hema Malini receive the award from President Draupadi Murmu.

Hema Malini appeared extremely emotional while accepting the award from the President. Upon receiving the award, she couldn’t hold back her tears. With teary eyes, she bowed her head and silently thanked the President.(UPDATED ON 25TH MAY 2026)
