Sibi George Meets Malta Deputy PM Ian Borg

Secretary West Sibi George called on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta, Dr. Ian Borg. In a social media post, Ministry of External Affairs informed that they discussed ways to strengthen the ongoing cooperation between India and Malta while also broadening the scope of bilateral engagement.
The Ministry added that the two sides also exchanged views on regional and global issues of interest. Mr George also met Commander of the Armed Forces of Malta, Brigadier Clinton J O’ Neill and they discussed ways to increase defence and security cooperation between India and Malta.(UPDATED ON 28TH MARCH 2026)
