Voting ends across states as Assam, Kerala witness high turnout

Voting for assembly elections in Kerala, Assam and Puducherry concluded smoothly amid heightened security measures. By 5 pm, Assam recorded a voter turnout of 84.42%, while Kerala recorded 75.01% voting. Puducherry logged a voter turnout of 86.92% by 5 pm, according to the Election Commission.

Voting for the 30 Assembly constituencies in Puducherryvconcluded at 6 pm on Thursday. People who arrived before the deadline were allowed to wait in queues and cast their votes even after 6 pm,

Assam Election LIVE: Polling ended in Assam at 5 pm on Thursday in all 126 assembly constituencies, officials said, according to PTI news agency.
