AI India Impact Summit pillars are People, Planet, Progress-Abhishek Singh

Additional Secretary and CEO of India AI Mission, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Abhishek Singh, today said that the upcoming AI India Impact Summit 2026 is curated around the three pillars of people, planet, and progress. Addressing a conference on AI for All in New Delhi, Mr Singh called India the Tech Garage of the world, noting that AI contributes significantly to economic growth and employment.

Meanwhile, Chief Architect at NITI Frontier Tech Hub, Debjani Ghosh, said, AI skilling is the central pillar of India’s AI playbook that will ultimately unlock the pathways to impact in the ecosystem. She added that the ability of AI to be included in productivity is important for the MSMEs, especially the small and micro companies. Ms Ghosh also said, AI is a never-ending race, and it depends on how widely the skills are distributed across the population of the country.(UPDATED ON 5TH FEBRUARY 2026)
