Former Cricketer Azharuddin Joins Telangana State Cabinet

Former cricketer and senior Congress leader Mohammad Azharuddin was sworn in as minister in the Telangana State Cabinet this afternoon. Telangana State Governor Jishnu Dev Varma has administered the oath of office and secrecy at a ceremonial event held at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad.

With this induction, the number of ministers in Revanth Reddy cabinet has gone up to 16. The portfolio allotment is yet to be made to the newly inducted minister.
