Swachhata Pakhwada-2026 Begins in Department of Fertilizers

Swachhata Pakhwada-2026 commenced in the Department of Fertilizers, Government of India, with a message from the Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers,J. P. Nadda. In his message,he described Swachhata Pakhwada as an important nationwide initiative towards building a clean, green and sustainable India.

The Minister said, “Swachhata Pakhwada is a nationwide initiative that reflects our vision of a clean, green and sustainable India and strengthens our collective commitment to maintaining clean and healthy workplaces and surrounding environments, in line with the objectives of Swachh Bharat.”

On the occasion, Rajat Kumar Mishra, Secretary, Department of Fertilizers, Government of India. called upon all officers and employees to extend active cooperation towards the cleanliness initiative. (UPDATED ON 1ST SEPTEMBER 2026)
