MEA Secretary Sudhakar Dalela Interacts With Officials From Six African Countries

Secretary (Economic Relations), External Affairs Ministry, Sudhakar Dalela interacted with an official delegation from Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Malawi, Zambia, Rwanda, and African Union Commission. United Nations Development Programme in India coordinated the visit.

In a social media post, External Affairs Ministry said that they discussed harnessing digital public infrastructure for development, governance, empowerment, inclusion and delivery of citizen-centric services. It said, India stand ready to share its development experience of deploying digital public infrastructure at population scale across sectors with partners in Africa. (UPDATED ON 29TH AUGUST 2026)
