MeitY Partners With PhonePe To Strengthen PM GatiShakti

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with online payment and fintech company PhonePe to strengthen the PM GatiShakti mission through granular and hyperlocal data intelligence.

This MoU is aimed at supporting national infrastructure planning, economic analysis and holistic urban and rural development. The Ministry highlighted that under the MoU, PhonePe PulsePro metrics will be integrated into the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan portal. The Ministry said that data-driven intelligence can play an important role in enabling informed planning and decision-making. (UPDATED ON 20TH AUGUST 2026)
