Madhya Pradesh CM Meets Union Home Minister Shah and Other Union Ministers

During his two-day visit to New Delhi, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held meetings with various Union Ministers and senior officials of the concerned Ministries to discuss issues concerning the interests and development of Madhya Pradesh. He also presented bouquets, traditional angavastrams and momentoes to the Union Ministers.

Union Minister for Home and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah chaired a high-level meeting on pending issues related to the Narmada projects. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the meeting along with Union Minister for Jal Shakti C. R. Patil, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The discussions focused on inter-state issues related to the Narmada projects and measures to expedite their implementation.

Dr. Yadav also held separate meetings with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Jal Shakti C. R. Patil and Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan to discuss matters concerning the interests of Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister also held separate meetings with the Chief Ministers of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra to discuss the implementation of inter-state projects and issues of mutual interest.
