EAM S Jaishankar Meets President Of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides

External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar today met the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, in Cyprus. In a social media post, Dr Jaishankar said that during the meeting, both sides discussed the evolving situation in West Asia and India’s interests in the Mediterranean. He added that the recent state Visit of the President of Cyprus to India saw significant outcomes, taking the partnership of both countries to its next phase.

Dr Jaishankar also held productive engagements at the Informal Meeting of the European Union (EU) Foreign Affairs Ministers – Gymnich – in Cyprus. He reaffirmed India’s ties with the EU and the Mediterranean. (UPDATED ON 28TH MAY 2026)
