Joint Counter-Terror Mock Drill Conducted At IGI Airport, Delhi

A joint counter-terror mock drill was conducted at IGI Airport, Delhi, showcasing swift response and inter-agency coordination. In a social media post Central Industrial Security Force, CISF said that the Mock Exercise was conducted under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and Chief Airport Security Officer of the Aviation Security Group along with senior officers from CISF and stakeholders.

Personnel from CISF, Delhi Police, National Security Guard, Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad and other agencies participated in the coordinated drill aimed at validating real-time crisis response mechanisms, strengthening inter-agency coordination and enhancing preparedness against emerging threats to airport security. The exercise highlighted swift response, seamless coordination and operational readiness, reaffirming CISF’s commitment towards robust aviation security and national preparedness.
