CEC Urges Voters To Become Partners In Strengthening Democracy

Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar, today said every voter should become a partner in strengthening democracy. Speaking to media in Tirupati, the CEC expressed satisfaction regarding the successful and peaceful conduct of elections in West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu.

Mr Gyanesh, on a two-day visit to Tirupati, visited Sri Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala and offered prayers this morning. (UPDATED ON 10TH MAY 2026)
