Dr. Bhargava honoured with ‘Bharat Pratibha Samman’ in New Delhi

Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhargava of Indore city, senior Indian Administrative Service officer, motivational speaker, author and former Commissioner of Rewa, Shahdol division was honoured by the Chief Guest, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, world renowned classical dancer, nominated former Rajya Sabha MP and Padma Vibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh, and special guest, Chairman of Indian Legal Aid Centre and senior Supreme Court advocate Dr. Pradeep Rai.in a grand national level function organised at NDMC Convention Hall, Parliament Street, New Delhi.

This award has been given to Dr. Bhargava for his outstanding contribution and performance of the highest order in the field of public administration, social welfare, qualitative changes in education, health and family welfare programmes, innovation in electoral process, women empowerment, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Rashtriya Poshan Abhiyan, various schemes of rural development, efficiency of result-oriented managerial skills in Covid-19 control and literary activities etc.

Dr. Bhargava, who was recently awarded the National Excellence Award in New Delhi, has also been previously awarded the National Award by the President of India for Best Electoral Practices and Innovations in Electoral Practices, and the President’s Medal for Exceptional Performance in the Census of India.

It is noteworthy that for this prestigious event of national importance, more than 5000 nominations were received from all over India, which were reviewed by the State Level Evaluation Committee on the basis of preliminary scrutiny by the Council Secretariat and on the recommendation of the review by the National Jury of distinguished experts, in the final approved list of winners in 14 categories by Bharat Pratibha Samman Parishad, Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhargava has been nominated for the first position for ‘Bharat Pratibha Samman’.(updated on 8th may 2026)
