Minister Pemmasani Chairs Telecom Hindi Advisory Committee Meeting

Minister of State for Communications Dr Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani today chaired the annual meeting of the Department of Telecommunications Hindi Advisory Committee in New Delhi. During the meeting, the Minister emphasised the importance of learning and promoting Indian languages to strengthen communication with the common citizens.

Mr Pemmasani highlighted the necessity of studying and developing Indian languages to further strengthen government communication with people. He reiterated that governance should become more approachable, accessible, comprehensive, and people-centric. (updated on 25th Feb 2026)
