Budget is a milestone for ‘Developed India

The Union Budget for the year 2026-27 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is not just a financial statement but an important milestone on the roadmap for ‘Developed India 2047’.Amidst clouds of uncertainty in the global economy, India has expressed confidence in its internal strength and technological prowess through this budget.

Former Member of Parliament from Ratlam Jhabua, Guman Singh Damor said that increase in Capital Expenditure (Capex): The government has allocated Rs 12.2 lakh crore for infrastructure development, a significant increase over the previous year.This investment is primarily focused on Gati Shakti projects and logistics efficiency improvements.

A provision of Rs 12.2 lakh crore has been made in the budget for construction of infrastructure.10 thousand crore rupees have been invested in building manufacturing, 10 thousand crore rupees towards making MSMEs champions, 7 high speed rail corridors, 20 thousand crore rupees for green development and energy security.All these sectors will generate significant employment. Provision has also been made for the creation of City Economic Regions. Three new All India Institutes of Ayurveda will be established, he added.(updated on 1st feb 2026)
