VP Radhakrishnan Meets President Of Seychelles, Dr Patrick Herminie

Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan today called on the President of Seychelles, Dr Patrick Herminie, in New Delhi. In a social media post, Mr Radhakrishnan said that during the meeting, the two sides explored avenues to further strengthen cooperation, including in the areas of maritime security, renewable energy, the medical sector, higher education, hospitality and digitalisation.

The Vice President said that the discussions focused on key aspects of India-Seychelles bilateral relations and noted that the two countries are marking 50 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations. During the meeting, both leaders reaffirmed their shared vision for peace, stability, and prosperity in the Indian Ocean Region.(updated on 9th feb 2026)
