“Infiltration into Assam and Bengal is now impossible

Home Minister Amit Shah todays said that BJP government will turn West Bengal and Assam into impregnable fortresses. It will now be impossible for infiltrators to enter Bengal.

Following the BJP Legislature Party meeting in Kolkata, Amit Shah congratulated all party workers. He said that there had been numerous incidents of violence and threats, but the people of Bengal had reposed their trust in the BJP in the elections.

Amit Shah said at the BJP legislature party meeting in Kolkata, “We will do our best for the development of West Bengal. The victory in the Bengal elections is very important. With this overwhelming mandate, our responsibility has increased even more.” He also promised that infiltration and cow smuggling will become impossible after the BJP forms a government in Bengal.

Amit Shah said,, I want to thank the people of Bengal profusely. Mamata ji transformed the atmosphere created during the Communist era into a more profound one, one of fear. Voting was nearly impossible there, and hundreds of examples of violence and brutality bear witness to this.

He said, amidst this, I thank the people of Bengal for the resounding victory they gave us by trusting the BJP and our leader, Shri Narendra Modi.”Whatever expectations the people of Bengal have placed on us and the hopes with which they have given us a majority, we will make every effort to ensure that your trust is not shaken in the slightest, and there is no shortcoming in this. It is the responsibility of all of us BJP workers to move forward with the goal of Sonar Bangla and fulfill the expectations of the people of Bengal.(updated on 8th may 2026)
